Rail Travel is a safe, eco-friendly, and efficient way to get around Germany and Europe. "ICE" High Speed trains connect the cities every hour, while Regional Express trains take you into the country side. You can buy tickets online, just for A to B connections, or get a "German Rail Pass" which allows unlimited travel for 5 or 10 days.

For Rail Travel in more countries than Germany only, a "EuRail Pass" will be the best option.
